VERTICAL HOLLOW  SHAFT  MOTORS

North American Electric, Inc. now offers a full line of Vertical Hollow Shaft motors designed specifically for Deep Well Turbine Pumps.  These motors are available from 10HP to 250HP, 1800 RPM in an Open Dripproof, WP1 enclosure.

These motors come standard with a “Ball Type” non-reversing ratchet assembly which prevents motor rotation from back spin at shut down.

Oversized Angular Contact Bearing and Oversized Ball Bearing carry heavy thrust loads to ensure reliability and long life.

Other standard features include Cast Iron Construction, Light Weight Hood, Space Heaters, Thermal Protection, and Class F Insulation with Class H VPI Resin.
